J-IPV6 - Junos IP version 6
At this training, which is designed for 2 days, students learn the features of the use of IPv6 address space. The training includes the following important topics: the IPv4 and IPv6 comparison, the IPv6 address space and advanced built mechanisms, the neighbors search mechanism, operation of various network services on IPv6 networks, the different routing protocols in IPv6 networks, the migration process from IPv4 to IPv6 and the tunneling technology to transmit IPv6 traffic.
During the laboratory works, students will increase experience in configuring, maintenance and troubleshooting IPv6 on Juniper Networks SRX Series Services Gateways running Junos.
This training will be useful to any technical specialists who engage in the implementation and maintenance of IPv6 networks on devices running Junos.
To complete this training, students will need a basic understanding of the OSI model and network protocols (TCP, UDP, IP, ICMP). In addition, it is recommended to have experience with Junos equal to the Introduction to the Junos Operating System (IJOS), Junos Routing Essentials (JRE) and Junos Intermediate Routing (JIR) courses.
