Training description

At this training, which is designed for 4 days, students learn routing mechanisms that can be used in large corporate networks or service provider networks. Students will learn how to use different zones to optimize the OSPF domain and a set of attributes that can be used to select the best BGP route. In addition, the training deals with the basic commands and tools for troubleshooting routing domains.
During the lab, students will increase their experience in configuring and optimizing routing protocols on Juniper Networks SRX Series Services Gateways devices.

Intended Audience

This training will be useful for technical specialists who configures and maintenances multiple routing domains and advanced routing mechanisms on network devices running Junos.

Expected students’ skills and knowledge

To complete this training, students will need a basic understanding of the OSI model and network protocols (TCP, UDP, IP, ICMP). In addition, it is recommended to have experience with Junos in the course of Introduction to the Junos Operating System (IJOS), Junos Routing Essentials (JP-JRE) courses and Junos Intermediate Routing (JIR).
