Course description

In this course you’re going to learn basic concepts in IP networking and interconnecting network devices, get some hands on experience in working with Cisco IOS software and basic administration commands. The knowledge and experience you’re going to get on the course is sufficient to install and configure small size networks, for example small branch network office and interconnecting that network with a wide area network. You’re going to get some basic knowledge in network security as well.

Preliminary requirements

Before attending this course a learner has to have basic experience of working with computers, operating systems, Internet and have basic knowledge of IP addressing.

Target audience

The course is targeted for network engineers, network helpdesk and system engineers and helpdesk, for network field engineers. It can be useful for any engineers who are going to design, plan, implement and maintain enterprise networks. And, of course, for those who are preparing to obtain CCENT or CCNA certification.
